Hmmmm i sent you 2 Replies ages ago Rich but they aint
shown up anywhere???
Right. The opyion to change your Password and Delete
your Account is in a completely different Menu so as
long as you stay away from that your ok...

The Menu you want is in the Chab Options on the
Browser, its the 2nd Option Down and it will take you
to a Communication Id Modification Login page.
Login with your Id and Password and it will take you
to a Menu with 3 Options.

1.Register Communication Id Anew.
2.Communication Id Modification.
3.Profile Modification.

From that i'd say its option 2. you want... Once in
the Menu it should ask you to Input a new Id, up to 8
characters long if its in Upper Case or up to 16
characters long if its in Lower Case. Then you click
the Left Button to submit it.

Now i havent actually gone any further than that but
from what i gather it will Register your New Id Name
and will give you a new Id Number too(I Think!), so
i'd be interested to learn what actually happens when
you do this, if you can copy the page source and mail
it me even better ;)

No, you cannot change your Email Address no matter
what as Dark Angel said, that is your Isao Account Id
but if you want to change your password thats easy
enough, it just reinstalls the settings with the new
Password to your Dreamcast.

Right. If you want to change the Password, go to the
Page where you installed all your Isao Settings to
your Dreamcast and its the Top Option, think the Url
ends in def=2, just look in the bottom bar as you have
your Cursor over it. You just enter your id and
password and in the bottom 2 boxes that are linked
together at the bottom enter the new Password you want
to use, Twice for verification, and it will reinstall
the new settings with the new password to your
Dreamcast.

To change your Chab Id Name, go into the Chab Menu in
the browser Options Menu and its the 2nd Option Down,
when you click it it will take you to a Green Page
where you need to enter your Id and Password, once
thats done it will take you to a page with 3 Options.
Now this is what the Translations Say.

Top Option: It Registers Id anew.
Middle Option: It MODIFIES your communication id.
Bottom Option: It Alters Your Profile Information.

I thought i'd gone in and translated and saved all
them too but i've only got the Middle Option
Translation saved. You have to enter the New Id Name
you require, either 8 Characters Capitals or up to 16
Characters non capitals, and click the left button to
submit it. I'm pretty sure it gives you a New Chab Id
Number too, dont think theres anyway around that
because the Name and Id are linked, maybe DarkAvenger
can confirm that.

No you cant change your Email Address because that is
your Isao Id, that can never be changed.

yep. i sometimes look at searchirc.com and do a
channel search for things like #dreamcast or
#dreamcast-isoz or something similar. one time i saw a
channel on i think efnet or something that was a
dreamcast isos channel. there was over 700 users!
people still love the dreamcast for sure. I dare say
that i hope my channel never gets that big. :P i dont
think maria, karl, psychy, drobb and i could handle all
that traffic! I told drobb one time, i like it the way
it is, but i would lik to see more than 5 people in
there sometimes. but as it is, we agree that its a
pretty cozy little chan, and i still maintain that
anyone is welcome at anytime. I still would like to
see someone bring just one fserv and serv homebrews.
stuff like emus and the custom browsers and maby games
like free quake and such. the problem is, who wants to
come in there and idle a fserv with broadband in
there? Any volunteers?

I've just recieved 2 Mails with attachments throu the
VGSO and when i scanned em with Norton Antivirus here
at Yahoo! They contain the So.Big.F Virus. Some
theories say its a Virus designed to collect email
addresses for Spam, imagine how much they could make
selling so many Email Addresses on! Whether its
destructive i cant remember but from what i remember i
dont think it is but dont take my word for that! It
was set to Mutate at a certain date and they thought
it was gonna do something nasty and cause some major
damage, but they've cracked it and it turns out all it
was set to do was divert ppl to a Porn site ;)
