Well, what i have to say about that is pure
speculation, but, I severly doubt the truth of there
being a pcengine emu in full dp3. If you recall, Sega
and NEC were mortal enemies from 1987 till about the
time that NEC and Hudson soft severly screwed up and
made the PCFX. Considering that, it would be about the
equivelent of there being a version of nesterDC on DP3
and sega and access co saying here ya go! This is a
NES emulator! Go ahead and download all the roms that
you want, but pay no attention to the legalities
because, ahem , we didnt make them. Now, everyone
knows that there is a megadrive emu on DP3. Its called
segagen, which is indeed the very same
megadrive/gensis emu on the sega smash pck, and also
the same segagen that was hacked as a standalone emu
that works quite well. I hapen to have a copy, and the
sound is the only problem. But seriously, the only way
i could see Sega and NEC making a deal like that is if
Sega just out right bought NECs gaming division. BTW,
i quoted the year 1987 becausethat was the year that
the pcengine was released. Sega was still trying to
develop the megadrive from system16 arcade hardware,
while the Mark III was sellig like piles of crap, and
Nintendo was still selling the Famicom that they had
made in 84 like hotcakes. Its a little known fact that
the pcengine and the famicom nearly killed Sega until
89. Thanks for listening to my history lesson. :P

Ok, let back track a bit. I meant dp special when i
said dp plus. I dont know wtf i was thinking, and im
sorry. As for the tcp or udp selection, it does not
work well with either. i have used both. I have also
used both in xdp3v7 and they both work flawlessly. I
think next time i head out to sarahs house, i will
scour all the irc chans i can find that serv dc isoz
for a full dpp. Hopefully if they have ay common sence
they will have it in rar format so the damn dummy file
wont hav it as over 700 megs. Surely they would have
it rared. Full dpp cant be that big. Surely no more
than 10-15 MB, but its the japanese and remembering
what does what that bothers me. Thats why i want just
the dpp from dpf. I would think that whoever customed
it would have distributed it seperatly from dpf, much
in th same way you can get just xdp3. Oh well, Ill do
whatever i have to do. Im gonna call sarah and see if
i can drive out there tonight. I have tons of cdrs
there to burn stuff on, and she has been wanting to
play shenmue 2 again. :P Later

Hey fac_29, i wont able to steal anybody id with it. Let me explain why
1. Dreamkey v1 CANNOT sign in at yahoo.com, it doesnt support ssl, that why
someone create that login page in first place.
2. Usually there is a login page in DCBG front page (on top) but now it wont
work, you have to be a member to use it.
3. How can i steal it? Im on dc, and i dont have any knowledge about script. As
i mention before, i use that tripod guy html, if you dont believe you should
check the html, it look exactly the same, I been using his page for a while.
http://dc-sg.tripod.com/dkyahoologin2-dcbg.html

If i were him or someone using that page, i would transload that page to my own
site and use it. I ask that exatly that question before and someone call me
paranoid. lol. By the way fac_29, where can i get the dpp3 browser? I saw one of
your post and you know they sell it in u.s.

Ah, but how do we know your not just wantin to steal
our Passwords, lol ;)

I dont know what your guys problems are because i can
use Yahoo! fine, on any browser.

If when you login it takes you straight back to the
Yahoo! Login Page just try hitting Reload.... That
happened to me once ages ago and hitting reload after
a failed login logged me in. I have no problems now
thou on any part of Yahoo!

Personally i'm a Full, stand alone DPP man as November
says its just a mater of preference. I just prefer it
for some reason thou there definitely isnt anything
wrong with the DPP on DPF other than the Chab Skin
missing, and i'd highly recommend it to ppl who are
starting off, thou its only about 50% English. I use
DPF for the DP 2 & 3 and Dream Passport Special. I
never said it was DP Plus i've never heard of it
referred to as that, that must have been someone else,
i just thought it was DP Premier.

I dont have PD yet, i'm expecting a copy any day now,
so i cant comment on it. When i get it i'll check out
the DPP on it straight away. Just one question thou,
do you have TCP Protocol Selected on the DPP? UDP can
be a bit unstable and you can end up losing the
connection a lot, that might help solve one problem.

Imo what you want is a Full DPP then, considering your
situation i think its the best and easiest option. DPF
is actually 5 Browsers, DP2, DP3, DP Special, DPP and
PW v2.62 plus loads of Extras including PC Stuff so it
will be a hefty download for your sis's PC. Only way
you can get DPF or DPP as far as i know is by asking
someone to Send you the Files or put it up on their
FTP if they have one or buy a copy. I know a place in
the US that sells it very cheap, a few dollars, will
be much faster for you than Jefmas Shop if the wait
bothers you but they only do Full DPP and full DP3 not
DPF.

hi november. i think you may have missed my point. the
only reason i want dpf is for the superior brew of
dpp. i have psd, and i love it, except for the dctv
platinum version of dpp. what i was looking for was a
place to get plain files for dpf that werent weighed
down by the mp3 files and other stuff. if nothing
else, i would love to get just the dp plus version of
dpp. btw, if you were trying to link to jeff:s store,
then im sorry. you got the address wrong. the link you
posted redirected me to a search engine called
your.com. i am aware of what jeff has anyway, and im
not really interested in waiting 3 weeks or even
paying for a browser thats burnt when i can burn it
myself for free, and have it the same dayi found out
where it is. hence asking for a link to plain files
without the extras. my sis has a slow as christmas
connection, but it wont take 3 weeks. LOL Later.

Well DPF and PSD are two of a kind for sure.

Finding either of them is as easy as going to

http://dcshop.yeah.com

About DPF being any sort of superior browser...
Not at all. PSD is a brew as well, only a full or origianal
browser will offer a clitch free browser IMO.

I love DPF's JS's and I think PSD needs mega work in
the DPP department.

I would recommend a DPF to any new DC online user(s).
Although the results that are desired from ppl are in
the real deal browsers (as for now...).

I do know several ppl that use PSD exclusivly and
reffere to DPF often for it's English JS (thanks Mina!)

Well that's all...

I'm not sure whats been going on, but the past week
has seen me having probs staying connected to the DC
  F355 server/s, StarLancer server/s and recieving ma
il (from Yahoo!) and sending mail (to Boltblue) with
the latter being extremely slow and/or taking a lon
g time before connecting. Strangely enough though th
e PSO servers dont appear to be affected.
Several other peeps at Dreamennia have had similar p
roblems so it might (though I hope not) be down to o
ur ISP if its the same (I use BT Click - Dreamkey 3
default). If it isn't then I don't know :(

Yes, be VERY careful. I have lost changes I saved wh
en editing my site because I decided to go back and
edit a file a few minutes later but my DC (with DK3)
must have reloaded the original file from memory wi
thout me realising and thus I lost the first alterat
ions/update I made.
To be safe I only update a file once any given night
, unless as previously stated, you switch off your D
C and reload the browser.

Will do m8, but not many peeps know him online - he
uses his email mainly to keep in touch with women he
has found online and his account was created by a m
ate.
I'll pass on your thoughts to him, cheers m8

Hi,

You certainly can with Dreamkey 3, but I don't have
any Planetweb browsers so someone else will have to
answer that for you.

I kinda doubt it has much to do with the no file
atachments thing andrew. I had a similar problem with
TOS violations. Now lord knows im no acusing your bro
of a TOS violation, but it may have been either an
accident or perhaps someone has a beef with him.
Something to look into. He may as well do like i did,
and create another yahoo account. If he uses the same
profile and it gets deleted too, then you will know
for sure. I had to eventually use a backup account i
had created about 1 year previously and so far, not
probs. Tell your bro I said good luck ok?

Should be very easy. Just sign in and go to the file manager and edit
the html file you want to change. To see the changes you may need to
reload the browser.

Very strange, coz I;m sure i recieved them (or atlea
st one of them) yesterday.

Oh, and on another note, my bro's Yahoo! account see
ms to have been deleted - he is unable to login, and
when trying to recieve a new pass to an alternate e
mail address they couldn't matc up his details with
info on their server!
Could all these problems be related with Yahoo! no l

Hmmmm i sent you 2 Replies ages ago Rich but they aint

Right. The opyion to change your Password and Delete
your Account is in a completely different Menu so as
long as you stay away from that your ok...

The Menu you want is in the Chab Options on the
Browser, its the 2nd Option Down and it will take you
to a Communication Id Modification Login page.
Login with your Id and Password and it will take you
to a Menu with 3 Options.

1.Register Communication Id Anew.
2.Communication Id Modification.
3.Profile Modification.

From that i'd say its option 2. you want... Once in
the Menu it should ask you to Input a new Id, up to 8
characters long if its in Upper Case or up to 16
characters long if its in Lower Case. Then you click
the Left Button to submit it.

Now i havent actually gone any further than that but
from what i gather it will Register your New Id Name
and will give you a new Id Number too(I Think!), so
i'd be interested to learn what actually happens when
you do this, if you can copy the page source and mail
it me even better ;)

No, you cannot change your Email Address no matter
what as Dark Angel said, that is your Isao Account Id
but if you want to change your password thats easy
enough, it just reinstalls the settings with the new
Password to your Dreamcast.
