After over a year of attempting to get the programmi
ng right, Yahoo!
announced today that the conversion to the Yahoo! Gr
oups format is
not working out as planned. Citing, changes in the M
icrosoft
WindowsXP, which have left many users unable to acce
ss features as
one of the many difficulties of the current format a
s well as an
overwhelming load of user complaints, the huge porta
l company has
decided to revert to the earlier programming format
of Yahoo! Clubs.
They expect to begin conversion of all Yahoo! Groups
to the Yahoo!
Clubs format next month. Users creating new groups a
re already being
welcomed with "Welcome to Yahoo! Clubs."

dammit, i HATED the yahoo clubs format...
PLUS, remember all the weird shit we went through wh
ile the whole conversion process was taking place th
e other direction...

this is not good...
this is SO not good...

but, no, i don't even know what all the ramification
s of this will be... i doubt we will know until the
conversion takes place...
