no matter, one of my esteemed colleagues has added a

ctory... i guess, for anyone else who may step up a
nd try to argue that curtis has never been a problem

if anything does happen to the dcbg, seems we have a
good case for who did it...
"not IF but WHEN i delete the dcbg" is how he put it

but, another issue is which dcbg? that encompasses
alot more than just a yahoo group these days... and
pretty much everything, everywhere is backed up som
ewhere and even cached by our search engine...

i had never needed for any of this to be public, but

firstly, curtis... damn, you are paranoid...

reading to see any "curtis-bashing" or anything lik

and then you are undoubtedly getting pretty wild-eye
d when you say that you KNOW everyone talks about yo

curtis, you have given us enough material to have a
weekly "remember when curtis did this" feature for y
ears... if i added the personal attacks on myself,
miss mary, and even other members of my family that
have never been made public, i have even more materi
al...

point being, if i was out to disgrace you, you have
made it an easy job...
but, revenge is your thing, not mine... peace and q
uiet is quite fine with me...

we HAVE all managed to find some other things to tal
k about besides you...

secondly, kefka... i just never cease to be disappo
inted...
when did your site come to stand for a place for sla
nder and a hideout for people who OPENLY and defiant
ly say they have plans to hack not only sites but pe

you have heard this is illegal and immoral, right?
yet, these are the sorts of people you call friends

empt to avenge myself in any way or "get back at" an
yone on behalf of the group, myself, or my wife, who
seems to be continually dragged into this by those
who do not like me... (nor have i even give much or

and anyone who would hack someone's account or site
is pretty low in my book and i think i side with the
majority of decent society on this one...

well, this is the first i have heard of it...
dcbg used to be host to a great many heated argument
s and it is no longer... there is no "curtis-bashin
g" or "dreamserv-bashing"... (seems we can leave th
e bashing to kefka's site...) so, not only has ther
e been no attempt to make your site look bad, i have
no knowledge of anyone here trying to start trouble
at your site, especially not me...

was being banned or something for calling carmen na
sty names and this BIG deal was made about someone c
alling her these names...
so, i made a post, and, yes, this required registeri

my reason?
what was my post about?

well, a few months ago, carmen sent my wife, miss ma
ry, a private message one day using the dreamserv me
ssage board private message system...
they had never spoken before...
before much more than ten minutes had passed, carmen
had some pretty wild accusations against miss mary
and alot of insulting comments... where she got her
info, no one seems to know, but, it ended up with c
armen calling miss mary some nasty names and both of
us were looking at each other stunned like "what wa
s THAT all about"?

maybe all you oh-so-experienced internet veterans ca
ll each other names all the time, but, all this abus
ive stuff between strangers or friends-of-friends is
pretty new to us...

so, we figure because we and kefka had been good fri
ends for quite awhile and english is carmen's second
language, there must have been some mistake or misu
nderstanding, so, miss mary sent a quick message to
kefka letting him know that apparently she had manag
ed to unintentioally offend carmen, maybe from carme
n misunderstanding something kefka might have said a
nd maybe even some things miss mary had said... sin
ce it was a matter of a possible language barrier, s
he also let him know that she was saving all the pri
vate messages so he could see what she was talking a
bout...

well, next thing we knew he had banned her and delet
ed her account...
i guess he saw it as destroying the evidence? no id
ea... he never replied to miss mary's message, just
left us wondering what had just happened...

we have spent countless hours chatting with kefka fo
r well over a year, even bought him pso and had many
good hours playing and needless to say, he and i ha
ve spent many hours working together... where ANY o
f this came from, we have no idea...
there has been motivational differences between the
two sites, but, i had no idea things had gotten pers
onal until this happened...
no account of kefka's has ever been banned from dcbg
, no post ever modded, and he has even added links i
n the bookmarks, like everyone is free to do, i stil
l posted the link to his site when i saw people at m
essage boards ask about vmu saves sites, and miss ma
ry and i visited his site boards daily back then, so
, we thought all was peace...

until all that happeneed with no explanation or even
clear reason...

so, flash forward to the semi-recent time when someo
ne had called carmen bad names...
it was when carmen made a post saying basically "how
would YOU feel if someone called YOUR wife a slut?!
" that i posted...
i could not help myself, apparently, so, i re-regist
ered and made a post, it was a brief message, someth
ing like "oh, but, things are different when you cal
l MY wife a slut???"
yes, i know, not exactly socratic debate methods, bu
t, again, i have been happily staying out of squabbl
es for a long time... i even used my real name so i
t would hopefully not be seen as some "dcbg vs. drea
mserv" thing, since apparently people REALLY want th
ere to be friction between the sites...

so, anyway, the message was deleted pretty quick, an
d, if i had to guess, this is what is now being labe
lled as me "trying to start trouble" over there...
hmm...
sounds like a stretch to me...

but, now there is a thread of personal attacks again
... so far, miss mary has been called "slut", "skan
k", and a few other inappropriate things and i have
been called some interesting things, of course, plus
there is this whole "gonna' delete dcbg" thing...
you know, we have been online for 2 years, and i did
plenty of stuff back in the bbs days and this is th
e only time and place that we have ever had anything
like this...

and it always seems to involve curtis...

which means it must be due to the fact that he think
s i should not be running the dcbg or something...
well, curtis, you are the only one complaining...

i can look across the width and breadth of dcbg and
it's related sites and not see anyone calling anyone
's wife anything... or threatening anyone... or ba
shing someone else's site... or making threats of i
llegal hacking activities...

and, i think that is a good thing...

maybe i am missing some important element of interne
t sociology or something?


so, i will now be banning the people who want to arg
ue about this... go ahead and have your fun elsewhe
