some of those that are the great ones were the vmu file uploader which
a ton of people here busted their collective humps on,and doug came in
and helped sort it all out into a working vmu uploader.danny's work on
DPF paved the way for many other custom related things and plot's move
to rename vgsonline/consolebrowsers to something such as DCBG aka
dreamcastbrowsers was huge as well.it cemented the fact that the group
was in fact for dreamcast browsing and not the over reaching all
consoles idea we had originally had.and vgsonline really just wasnt
the name for it either.i remember trying to have a group that included
all but plot's saw that as time went on that other consoles just were
not coming online the way dc had.it made sense to change the
name.although way back then i pitched a royal hissy fit...i just didnt
get it.i do now though thankfully.there were things i was very good at
but managing groups wasnt one of them.people like drobb, karl, and plots
saw this long before i did.did ya know that at one time i even
"plotted" to destroy the groups as a whole.what a messed up set of
events....big headedness can affect those with the best of
intentions.never forget that.
this group stands as a testament to many things not just the browsers
themselves, but also a set of long term users
attitudes, ideas, actions, etc. it is who we were then and who we are now
all in perpetual motion.
well ive rambled enough....i tend to do that sometimes as well..lol
