im used it, and it works great with DPP.
well, some instructions:

login with a hotmail id

you will see your online and offline contacts

use "setup" to add new contacts and to edit other settings

since you have a contact with a online status, click on its name.

you will see a question about the text box ("show text box?" or
something), click on it

type what u want, and send it.

to see new messages and status, click on reload.

dudes, what kind of problems you have trying to use it? i have it
working without problems here:)
