Haha, err, yeah i've always thought that but there is
a reason with some but i'd better not go into detail
on here ;)
If you go to the Channel i gave you type /list and
you'll get a full list of available channels on Efnet,
be warned! The list is LONG!!! then all you have to do
is type /channel (Channel Name) i think!? to join it,
so say you wanted to join #PS2 from Dreamcast type
/channel #PS2
IRC is quite complex, you need to take some time
learning the commands. If you type /help while in a
channel it will show you a commands list but i
recommend viewing the Help Files built into the
Planetweb Disc, it gives you a lot of advice like how
to Register your Nick when on there so no one else can
use it etc, I also had the address of a good Planetweb
IRC Help Page, if you want it i'll post it.
IRC is a bit complex and dauntin for beginners but
you'll soon pick it up, theres a lot to it but you can
get by with just a basic knowledge, i did ;) If your
really serious about usin Chats on DC thou i recommend
you learn.
