are you sure you joined a channel? most of the time ppl on irc use
private messages to chat, that could explain why the public chat
board is quiet calm sometimes, oh and make sure to check the users
list, if theres only your name you can bet you entrered a wrong
channel (i can talk about mirc only thoug, i suppose it looks like
that with pw/dp too)
