IRC on your Planetweb 2.62 is your best bet, or
Dreamcall which is still up and working fine on there.

To access IRC on Planetweb i think its
pwchat://host:port/#channel so if you wanted to use
the #Dreamcast Channel on Efnet you would type
pwchat://irc.efnet.net:6667/#Dreamcast in the URL Bar.
Its been a while since i used it but i think thats
right, IRC is your best bet for Chat on a DC, on a PC
too probably, but if your meaning IM's then thats a
different matter.....
