Thank you. I finally got through. I really needed to check my map more
frequently to see what hall I was in. That was the trickiest spot for me. A
appreciate the help.

Pick up the bronze key at (10,24). Use it at (2,24). * There are several teleport traps in the north/south hallways behind the bronze key door. Move north until you teleport to the third hallway. Backup until you are back in the first. Move north and press the button. Backup to get to the second hallway. Forward to the third. Forward to the fourth. Turn around and move south and press the button at the south of the fourth hallway. Then you can exit that hallway to the north. If you need to come back through you will have to press the east-most button again.

Leave New Trelon and go a little west and then north to the forest.
There is a entrance-alley into the forest. In front of it you meet a king's scout.
He will lead you to Helix.

Saves can pretty much only fail if you are out of memory on your device. Have you checked this?
Also, from the Palm Launcher (in the Info menu) do you see both Dragon Bane and a Drg2SaveMSRK databases listed? The second is your save games.
If by DBaneIIEd you mean someone elses save game editor, then it is quite possible you corrupted your save games.
What shows up in the list when you try to load? It should always have 8 named save slots, which start out being named "Empty 1" etc. If they are blank, then you have corrupted your save games, and I'm not sure this is much we can do to help.
You can start over by deleting the Drg2SaveMSRK database from the Palm Launcher.

Okay I admit that I am stuck. I am in the Talon Cloister Sewer, and just can't get any further. I have two corridors I walk down and you jump between them. There is a switch at the end of one that I managed to get to and press, but just can't seem to get any farther. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I found the shorter route. The problem was I was unaware of being able to slide, and learned that sliding right or left reduces the number of moves to travel that distance. That got me to the door before it locked again. Thanks for the hint.

I now have a Tungten T3, Have tried get in and have actatived the
Levation spell. I have tried to back in and forward, also using the two
top buttons and bottom buttons with the forward button but nothing
seems to work. What am I doing wrong?
I thought I had pressed the wall but apparently not because that did it.
Thank you for giving me back my game.

As has been mentioned there are two key things to making him
show up:
1) You have to have pushed on the wall in the dungeon and gotten
the message that you need more strength to move it. If you haven't done
this Max will never show up. (For example, did you do it and
then restore an earlier game where you were closer to the city thinking
it might save time? If so, he'll never show up unless you go push the
wall again.)
2) You have to visit his tent on a weekend. This is not as hard
as it seems, unless you are trying for a shortest time through. Isn't
there a rest command that lets time pass? Just go to his tent and click
to see if he is in. If not, just rest there. And then try again. You
can check the day and hour each time after resting to make sure time is
passing. Repeat rest, check, rest, check. He will show up eventually.
I was one of the original playtesters who kept track of all the
issues. As far as I know there should be no problem with playing all
the way through on a Tungsten T5.
A
couple of weeks ago I was having trouble finding Max in. I kept
getting a message from Max's tent saying he was out and come back
next week. I asked you guys about it and you said just keep checking
back in and he will eventually show up.
Well it's been two weeks real time and over a month DBII time and
still no Max and I am at my wits end! How much time must I waste
wandering around waiting for this guy to show up?
I even started the game over from scratch, built a really great team
which is really strong, then hit this point and... nothing.
I hate being stuck and am seriously beginning to wonder if there is a
glitch of some kind which is keeping me from moving forward. I'm
playing with a Palm Tungsten T5. Does anyone know if there are
problems with DBII on this machine? I played Demelza all the way
through with no problems.
So, should I keep wandering around, hoping the guy will show up
someday, or should I delete DBII from my palm and reinstall, or just
give up. Or can I live without the soli key, or is there just some
little cheat which could get me past this point and let me continue
playing.
First of all
have you hit the wall where you get the clue that you need someone really
strong to break the wall. Only after that clue will the strongman turn up and
then only at weekends.

Interesting.... normally I had a requirement that all levels had to be visited for some reason or another but I didn't know this level could be skipped! I will get back to you with an answer on this one shortly...

I've already finished the Demelza adventure including the easter egg level, but I'm not going back and trying to get into the middle of the Chamber of Horrors (which I neglected the first time around).
I tried the walkthrough but I still can't seem to get there because many of the doors listed to get to the middle of Chamber of Horrors were locked and I couldn't find a way to get past them.
So, for simplicity sake, I'm in front (36,5 Chamber of Dismay) of the Old Rusty Hinged door. And remember I've finished the levels objective already by getting the Dragon Bane half, but I just want to get to the middle section of the Chamber of Horrors.
Thanks.
