Well it just happened several times in a row. It usually happens
immediately after a foe has advanced or summoned a creature, and my
lead character chooses "attack" he is immediately dead.
I am baffled and frustrated because it is such a weird problem, and I
seem to be having trouble getting through this dungeon without it
happening.

I don't think anything like this has been reported in the 4 year
history of the game, but maybe someone else has heard of it.
One thing that can kill you during battle is poisoning, but you should
see a POISONED label by the character's name before he dies. If you
can mail a savegame to us that can reproduce the problem 100% of the
time, please let us know.

Version 1.0.5 PPC
Occasionally, within a battle, one of my characters (so far, it has
only been my lead) will suddenly become labeled DEAD. He may not even
have been hit, and still has all his HPs, he's just suddenly... dead!
Any explanation? Is this a bug? I didn't see any such message like
"<enemy> casts Death on xxx" or anything like that.
Frustrating, as I have to end up loading from my last save.
Hi,
Dragon Blossom is only available in the demo version. The demo version is fully
playable.
I cannot upload the latest version at this time, since the computer with the
.ZIP utility is currently broken. The latest version of Dragon Blossom is
identical, except for the addition of an HTML player's manual. Dragon Blossom
is unique, since it includes ALL files need to recompile it using the Dragon
Bane II Adventure Construction Kit (DB2ACK). Thus you can change anything
about the game you want.
The latest version of Saexgryth, an expanded version of Dragon Blossom (without
DB2ACK files) for sale, will be uploaded as soon as I can get a working .ZIP
utility.

Dear A Hobby That Pays,
I was interested in playing the new adventure you created but I think I
only have the demo version of it (which the game tells me I have).
Could you send me the full version (to nkulka3@...)?
The nikhilk89@... address is an invalid address.
Thank you.

Hi,
I was interested in creating my own adventures for Dragon Bane II. I
was wondering if someone could tell me where I could find available
mini/full adventures that I can use (to distribute for free at first,
then maybe charge if I get good at it).
I am looking for adventures that have a given range for PCs. For
example:
Party Chars. can go from levels 1 to 5 or 2 to 4.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Nikhil Kulkarni

The walkthrough instructions
by Larry Fluckinger are correct; however, what may help here is to look at the map after
every step because sometimes you will be transported in the middle of
a hallway without realizing it (and also sometimes turned around).
That is why the walkthrough mentioned sometimes backing up.
Hope this helps a little. Good luck.

If I remember correctly you have to
trigger the strongman event by trying to move a wall in the sewers level
1. Then stow a party member and pick up The strongman during the
weekend. Then go back to that wall and he’ll move it for you.
Hope this helps

Hi there,
Has Max the strongman helped you out yet? The easiest way to answer
your question is to peek at the walkthrough for Dragon Bane II and
scroll to the Sewer 1 and Sewer 2 sections.
You can find this in the files section (Walkthrus /
Return_of_Kraan.txt) or message 1674.
Hope this helps,

Thanks to those who have volunteered to beta test! I will be emailing
out a contract by tomorrow and hope to get them signed and turned
around so we can begin testing on Friday.

Been a Dragon Bane Player since the first title and me Palm IIIse. Part II was great. The best RPGs for palm for the longest time. And for the naysayers, Tapwave may be gone, but the zodiac community is very much alive. Even when mine goes, i'll probably seek out another one. Count me in for Beta testing.

Attention Tapwave Zodiac owners:
We have a new game called WizardWorld coming out soon, and we'd like to ask for volunteers to do some beta testing. The game only runs on Tapwave Zodiac. Sorry, there will be no ports to any other devices.
Though the genre of the game is action/strategy instead of RPG, it's still part of the "Dragon Bane" mythos. I posted some screen shots in the Photos section.
If you have a Zodiac device and will be able to put in a good amount of time between Sept 23 - Oct 9, please send me an email. I will be sending out beta tester contracts, and once I get a crew of people who have signed, I'll distribute the materials and instructions.
Thanks, Jason

Makes sense. Shame there's nothing else on the pipeline right now,
though. I really liked Dragon Bane II, and there's always room for a
sequel or some other related material on one of my PDAs!

The game was started about 1.5 years ago, back when Tapwave still had
hope, and the XForge platform the game was written on was supposed to
be available for license on many platforms.
Sorry no other games on the horizon right now. Having XForge change
it's licensing terms and Zodiac go out of business was no fun for us
either, but we figured we might as well release this game anyway since
it was mostly done.

It's been a while...............Yes...........Count me in !!!!
I ran dragon bane through my tapwave, and really enjoyed it.
Even thought they don't make these any more, and refuse to support the device further, I just can't give it up !!
Nothing out there even comes close to running a game like this device.
Let me know...............I know during those weeks, I can put at least an hour or two a day into the game............
