Hi,
I do not work for Mythological Software.
What device are you running it on?
Where did you buy the color version from?

Assuming you have a troglodyte in your party, leave it in an inn.
Then go back to the crypt. Once done, go back and pick up your

if it is not loading up at all then you have to open the file from whereever you downloaded it, the file is probably compressed and you have to unzip it. if itis loading but not in color then you have downloaded the grey scale version probably. delete that version from your computer and palm pilot and d.l. the right one. make sure that your version palm is either hi resolution or low resolution or it will not work..if it is a zire 31 color, that is low resolution if you have a treo or something like that then you need the higher resolution version.

I've been really enjoying DragonBane II with the help of the
wonderful
walkthrough I found with this group and I've almost made it to the
end
of the game when I've gotten stuck.
Here's my problem. I've found Kra'an, let him talk then had a brief
combat before the game let me run away, then the walkthrough says I'm
supposed to go talk to Helix who will tell me the dragonbane isn't
complete, and then he will make a Portal into Kra'an's Lair 2.
The only trouble is I've talked to him and I can't seem to see any
portal. Helix says "Make haste! Equip your Dragon Bane sword and
find
Kra'an in his lair."
I suspect that I have missed a step, so if someone can help me out to
either find out what that step is, or where the heck Helix put his
portal I would truly appreciate it.
Thanks so much.
JB
Sorry about that!! Larry, thank you for the great work...
And Chris, I'm sure the Demelza walkthrough will be helpful when I get
there...

Hi Glenn,
Thank you for your very kind words. That's all it takes to have made
the
effort for the walkthrough worthwhile (meaning, it actually has helped
someone!). However, I can only take credit for the Demelza walkthrough.
Larry Fluckinger deserves the credit for both the Dragon Bane and the
Dragon Bane II walkthroughs. I only tried to emulate his style but gave
up and just put down the raw elements for the walkthrough.
Best wishes,
Chris

That area with the Chamber of Horrors / Surprise / Dismay is not very

Thanks again for helping me over this hump. Saying the chamber

Once again, thanks for helping me really enjoy this game.

I do not know if Mythological Software has changed it, but they were
talking about fixing it so an unequipped, DRAGONBANE SWORD would

*** SPOILER ALERT ***
Really? What level is your party? I've beaten him with a level 14
party (which was somewhat tough), anything higher than that should be
no problem (of course the higher the better). Once I've beaten him
with a level 30 party (keep killing enemies on level 21/22 and don't
train new levels), that was so funny... He never had a chance.
Search this forum, you'll find lots of tips on defeating him.
Basically all you'll need is a good a way of bringing him closer
(one/two knights or a thief with lots of sunfruits, casting NEAR FOE,
or a couple of WAND OF ATTRACTIONS for the spell casters). What will
also help: Ensir always casting DISSPELL, so that the Greater Demons
that Kra'an casts can't take away your Shield, and a dwarf casting
Belligerence (double the chance of hitting Kra'an).
You do know that you need the gemstone of balance to complete the
sword, right? You have to hit Kra'an at least once with the incomplete
sword and then visit Helix again.
> Have you tried this with Demelza?
No. Remember when I sent you a list of why I didn't like it? (You took
some of my negative comments as compliments.) I've completed it a few
times when I purchased it and wrote a walkthough, but I don't like it
enough to replay it that often.
Great idea! Must give it a try. Mind you, 13 days sounds impossible,
well done.
Trouble is, I can't finish off Kra'an at all. I'm usually on about
day 90 before I give up...

I love re-playing DBII every once in a while. I usually beat it once
with one character (sort of tough), then with two (just for the fun of
it), and then I try for the fastest possible time. I've just completed
DBII in 13 days! (Game days that is.) My party was
Caleb/Gyrko/Wythera/Ensir/Poe, all level 15. Finishing on that day
actually it worked out quite well because Ensir & Poe was getting the
-2 spell point modifier, so it only costed Ensir 8 SP to get rid of
those Greater Daemons. I did not use cheats of any kind, just saved
tons of times of course. My previous record was 21 days. I wonder if
any of you DB fans have tried this (ie. finishing the game in the

I have RoK v1.0.5 and run it on a PocketPC with Arm processor. I have
been playing it for nearly 3 years now and notice several problems.
The ones that are really annoying are:
1. I have kept Caleb to the end, but whenever anyone restores his
magic points they return to 6. I rely on Death's Blessing a lot of
the time and everytime Caleb needs healing he seems to end up on 6
magic and cannot improve beyond that until he gains a level. I have
him at level 17 at the moment with only 6 magic. This means he can
only cast Near Foe once. I'm fairly sure that in previous games I
have had him up to 20+ magic points but not this time.
2. I have never managed to hit Kra'an. I have been visiting his
chamber for ages and thought the only way of hitting him was to cast
dementia on his demons and hope for the best. Now I have read your
walkthrough and find that I have to run away. I cannot run away until
he prepares for battle as the only button that is available on the
previous screens is "OK".
