Press the big real button in the center of your
buttons. By 'real' I mean not any of the graphical

Thanks for the reply. Well, I started on your steps in 2592 and I
was able to open the chest by just doing the following:

Magic mouth (6,6): It is very important that you try
everything & go everywhere! Remember the outcome of the race between
the Tortoise & the Hare?
Pit (7,5)->(16,13)
Take Force field (16,15)->(7,25)
Chest (14,23)

Thanks a lot for the help. I now will continue the adventure.

Hi there,

My notes in 2592 should get you through the puzzle, as these were the
steps I took to get through. Did you take all the steps or try to
skip some by simply entering the code words without making the full
circuit? Did you read each code word on the Magic Mouth by touching
it? I don't know how the scenario works, but if you don't touch the
Magic Mouth, perhaps some flag doesn't activate to the next scenario.

If you took all the steps, then perhaps you could email me your saved
game and tell me how far along you were. My email address is
cysk@...

Good luck,
Chris Kim (cysk)

The Soli key is used at Sewer 1(21,10) according to my notes.

I presume that if you got to the end of the "If you don't succeed"
teleporter puzzle in Sewer 2 as Larry's walkthrough directed, you
will get teleported to Sewer 2(13,16). The ladder near there should
take you up to a new place in Sewer 1 where the Soli key is at
(21,10). I haven't done this puzzle in a couple of years, so I don't
remember precisely.

Good luck,
Chris

Start in Level 2 @ 13,3 keep entering portal south of the message "If at first you don't succeed" until you teleport to 13,16. take the ladder back to Level 1.

Hi everyone,

There have been a few recent requests for a Demelza walkthrough (and
a few from the past). At least now I know there is a demand for this
out there. My walkthrough is a little different than the excellent
ones put out by Larry Fluckinger for DB1 and RTK because I wrote down
everything for my own reference (dialog, the fountain hints and
clues, etc.) because often you could not go back and repeat them.
Therefore, it probably is more complete than it should be.

I had finished my notes for the walkthrough of Demelza 1.5 back in
February with a lot of comments to Simon regarding "typos", of which
Simon (the creator) adopted those that would fit the spacing. That
version is 1.5.1, which I am trying to go through again to verify
what got changed. He was too busy to go back and correct my
walkthrough directly. As those who are going through Demelza know, it
is a BIG adventure, and I don't have the kind of time I did back then
to run through Demelza quickly.

I will try to post what I have next weekend - work in progress
(you'll still see some my correction comments), but I do have to
clean up some comments. I am on call this week, so I don't login very
often. In the meantime, just post questions about Demelza. I'll try
to answer the best and as quickly as I can. Simon has been very busy
lately, but he is obviously the best source of information when he
posts.

Thank you for your patience,

Chris Kim (Cysk)

Hi Kurt,

I played your saved game, and I know what your problem is. You need
to exit the NE corner of the Marsh (the section where you need
Demelza to enter) through a false wall and not the gate you entered
at the northern end, which is what I think you did. You have to find
the false wall in the NE corner first.

Once you go through the false wall of the NE corner, then you can go
through the false wall of the SE corner.

Hope this helped. Email me at cysk@... if you need specific
coordinates.

Good luck,
Chris

Hello all,
I'm pleased to be a part of your group.  I'm working my way through
Dragon Bane 2 and have had to use the walkthrough a couple of times.
When Larry makes reference to different numbers (like X is at (5,15))
I know it is some sort of grid but I don't know how to apply it in
game without an out of game map.  help....someone.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi,

You have to have Demelza in your party at this point because you need
the Hamlet key to enter the Hamlet to drop her off.

If you are at the Marsh (25,16) facing south (should be a square with
stones you are standing on), there are the two red marks on the wall
where the false wall is. That should take you south into the
southeast corner.

If you email me your saved game file (Drg2SaveSSPD.pdb) to
cysk@... then I'll be happy to take a look at it for you.

Good luck,
Chris

Hi there,

OK without knowing specifics of where you are, I am assuming you are
in the midst of the Pit Puzzle in the Lairs, as you are looking for
the Bent key.

The easiest way for me to answer this is to copy my notes of the Pit
Puzzle, and have you tell me if this solves your problem, or give me
more specifics.

Good luck,
Chris Kim (cysk)

See my notes below [perhaps MAJOR spoiler]:

I found some sort of a sword but can't identify it. I've seen
postings referring to some guy in hut; is this someone other than
Helix? If so, any idea where I can find this person? Didn't find
anyone at the fairgrounds who could do this.

Hi John,

That is a very useful tip for both RTK and Demelza. HOWEVER, note
that during middle portions of Demelza, the inns will be boarded up
(unavailable), so you would not be able to access your characters
then. The inns reopen later in the game.

I am going through the game slowly a second time to correct my
walkthrough to see if I can identify what events trigger these
events. I think returning Demelza to the King initially closes the
inns (or may reopen them). Simon likely can give the correct sequence
for this.

Cheers,
Chris Kim

Hi,

We have a problem with mixing up the scenarios. Craig was referring
to Return of Kra'an, while I believe eatmornachos (John Rangle) was
referring to Princess Demelza.

I know eatmorenachos is playing Demelza {PLEASE put [Demelza]
somewhere in the subject line to avoid confusion.

The answer is you are looking for Jeret to identify your exotic
items. You are correct in that he is in the Grove Fun Fair [remember
you can only enter during the first two weekends of the month!]. I
don't recall, but until you have an exotic unidentified item, Jeret
may not appear. Anyhow, he is located at (42,30) in the Grove Fun
Fair.

Please acknowledge if this helps. Thanks.

Good luck,
Chris Kim
