My team has made it through the two levels of the final dungeon an seen and talked to Kra'an (and fought a demon he summoned). According to the walkthrough we are now supposed to go back to Helix, who will open a special gate to take us to the other side of the dragon to retrieve the gem we need to complete the sword. But all Helix says when the team visits him is, "Hurry, defeat Kra'an". I have tried this twice. What am I missing?

Hey,
I have read the other postings - but cannot find the fake bush.
There is one that when i try to go over it it says 'you have been
expected come back when it is a full moon' so am presuming that is
the one. But really dont want to have to waste 2/3 weeks of game
time waiting for the full moon - any tips??
Thanks
It's a new adventure. I got mine at www.palmgear.com.

There is only one segment of Dragon Bane in each dungeon. Keep moving on moving and continue the quest. You'll get them all eventually. Good luck!

Hi,
The formula appears to be
HP gained = integer [ (HP + stamina) * 0.1 ]

Hi,
Creating new characters, I have been getting some unexpected numbers
with hitpoints and spellpoints. Even though they start off separated
by equal intervals, they tend to clump. Does anyone know the formula
for gaining hitpoints and spellpoints when you gain a level?
Thank you.
-NEFTF
Hi,
If I set a chance of 100 for a level 9 item as found in the shoppes,
at what party level does this number become half of the original
number.
-NEFTF
There is only 1 segment per dungeon. So you need to
continue the quest elsewhere.

hi,
I'm new to the group and love the game once I figured out how to
get some things accomplished.
I am having a problem with finding all the segments in the
prince's lair. I have been everywhere (I believe)and only found one
segment. I took out the dragon but have not met ta krall. there is

Simon or anyone,
I have been in the Lair of Pits for three months (real time), from
21,25 to 6,6 without finding any exits to the gray area(to find the
three holes in the floor). Exited at 7,18 to find back in Lair of
Confusion, exited to the outside to find the old man in the shack to
the NW but it was completely blocked off and I have no idea how to
get to it. I think that this is a key area!
Can somebody please help me??????!!!!!
I cleared out the Attic, Cellar and Hidden Cellar. I still have a
scaled key and I'm not sure what I am supposed to do. I searched
thru the group and saw metion of a canister, but don't recall seeing
one in the Hidden Cellar nor do I have one in inventory. I did
answer the riddle and got into the secret passage where the gold
was, but I lost the gold as soon as I left the room. Now when I go
back, the room is empty. What did I miss?
Thanks,
Brian

I just
wanted to thank you for the help you gave me in the sewers. It seems so often I see folks (like me) askin' for
help but (maybe I just haven't paid enough attention) but I don't
see a great many thanks. Anyhow - whether I do or not, just
wanted to thank you for that obvious tip - don't actually push the button,
just push ahead, and the button will kind of get pressed all by itself.
That did the job and now I'm happily cavorting in the reset of
the sewers.

You will not find the strong man until you get to the wall that he needs to
push, which you won't find until you get through the teleports. It sounds like
you're not hitting the wall with the button in the right spot, which is causing
you to rotate instead of pressing the button. When you're facing the button,
just hit the wall dead center instead of trying to hit the button. Hope this
helps.

OK - I've used the walkthrough, tried my best to get through the
teleporting squares "puzzle?" in the s.e. quadrant of the sewer -
i've followed the suggestion in the walkthrough but nothing has
worked. The only thing I can see even slightly odd is that the
button in the first hall never seems to LOOK "pressed" (like the one
elsewhere). It simply turns me to the left.
Can anyone help me get unstuck in this endless sequence of getting
nowhere?
Also - I read here earlier that I will need the strongman at some
point but have been told "he wasn't there that weekend" for THREE
weeks in a row. Can anyone tell me what's up with that? No way to I
have anyone close to Strength 40 which I'm told will be needed later
in this sewer.
No, it has something to do with the chest in the moors...

Thanks, I didn't want to reload and miss getting my unidentified
items. I found that I could retrace and the going was short and easy
and I actually picked up a few items.
Now I'm stuck back in the grove trying to find a way into the
necropolis. I would imagine it has something to do with the
Headlands Taverne???

I have found Demelza and she disappeared. All my party is @ level
14, 15 or 16 and I have been to the chest in the back 40. It says to
wait until the next full moon. I have been to the Taveren next to
the necropolis and tried every hint I could think of but still no
luck.
Could someone help me out a little and tell me how to proceed to the

Wow. My DB II team is now at Level 16 and has entered the castle. These guys are getting too powerful. Is there someplace in the castle where they can sell stuff they don't want and get things identified? I have pretty much explored it (exclusive of the garden) but didn't find anyplace. I have loaded a lot of stuff on one of the characters in the Inn to hold for the team.

Very tough but enjoyable game. (Especially for long commuter rides, though I do get states from co-riders who wonder what a 63 year old man is doing playing a handheld)
I made it through the Lair of Pits and visisted Helix and went to the hidden area. Then I teleported to town and visited the healers and leveler and went to the old man in the fairgrounds to have him identify some items. When I teleported out of the fairgrounds I erased the
automatic return to Lost Island. Do I have to go all the way back through the Lair of Pits to get back to helix's teleporter?
Thanks.

Great job, Bill. I too am starting DB2 again - been so long from the beta days. I finally have a color Palm - the game is so much different visually with the color. Now I understand time of day and night (before I had to look on the map in greyscale).
I finally got around to playing and finishing DBII again and made it to the Easter Level for the first time. Now I know where that screen shot comes from. It was nice to see my name up in Pixels!
