You have to visit a location in a dungeon that says your party isn't strong enough. (And without the strongman your party NEVER will be.) Then the strongman will start to show up on weekends.

Go through the gate in the NE corner and make your way south. Be sure to
check everywhere & everything thoroughly on the way. The only way into the
southern section is from the north through the first section...

      David,

You can do us both a favor by sending an email to
this man with all of your saved files.
You will need to use "Drg2saveSSPD.PDB" from your

can then look over what was done and make any

           Hello Mike.

I am a little confused at this point. The
torch in the cursed crypt at 5,4
is a one way walk thru wall. The wall at 4,5
is a normal wall with a sewer
           grate at the bottom.

There should be no problem. What you will
need to do is send me your
           saved
game and I will investigate it for you
straight away.

Your saved game file is found in your palm
back up directory called
"Drg2saveSSPD.PDB". I can then run it
through the emulator & try &
           reproduce
the same error. Preferably you will also
have a saved game in one of the
slots that occurred just before you tried to
walk through this wall. If so,
let me know which slot & the label given.

           Regards,
           Simon Jacobs
           Princess Demelza Author.

           Can Somebody help me again?
I found the area in the The Cursed Crypt at
5,4 with the false torch
holder, I clicked on it but nothing
happened! What did I do wrong? I
went looking for button on the wall to push
but didn't find a thing.
So, I thought that I missed something and
went back the beginning and
through the field, when I went down the
first corrider again the
false torch holder was at 4,5! I tried to
click that but nothing
           happened again!!! What to do????

           Regards,

You can get to this force field but only by stepping on the right pressure
plates in the right direction! A clue is to look at your map view, where you
will be able to differentiate between fall thru pits and pressure plates.

Another idea is to save every time you successfully do not fall through then
try and take another step...

Good luck!!

Okay, I am on the Island Fortress and at the Pits. I have explored
the rest of the island. I have found the sequence to step across the

same dungeon. I have tried going through the force field but it
gives a message "An invisible force field prevents you from going
this way. . ." What do I need to do to progress? Thanks.

Ok, maybe I am being a bit paranoid, but I just want to make sure I
haven't missed something. I have gone through every level of the
trog caves under the Inn, and have recovered the Swamp Key. Once I
get the key, can I proceed to the Swamp? Is there someone I need to
talk to or something that has to happen prior to heading to the
swamp? I just got the key and that was it, no "Demelza ran away
before you got here" or anything along those lines. Was something
like that suppose to happen?

Thanks

Byron,
this is a minor bug in the game that should be repaired directly by Simon, the Demelza designer. I went through it some 2 months ago, Simon had me mailed the saved game directly to him, was very helpful and returned it within minutes back, with the bug fixed. If he doesn't read your post here you should address him directly at simon_jacobs@....
Good luck Rani

I'm stuck at the part in Crypt #3 where it says something
about "...only a blind man can find..."  It's where I'm supposed to
get the skull.

#1. I have made sure any light or owl eye spell has worn off (except
the moving eyeball, which never goes away under any circumstances
[Greater Revelation?])

#2. I have unequipped everything on every character.  The screen
looks mostly dark.

Could this have anything to do with the fact that:

A:  I explored this area with a light spell on initially?

B:  The eyeball never leaves my dungeon view since I've started the
game?

C:  A first dungeon attack (level 1) or something caused my
Necromancer to get 6400 spell points (now down to 5800)?

If B, how do I remove that swinging eyeball icon?

PS, if I cast a spell which gains my Necromancer spell points, he
looses all that wonderful cache.

PPSS, note to programmers, a feature to be able to save or exit the
game in the middle of melee would be a nice feature for those of us
that get interrupted frequently.

Thanks,
Byron.

Caleb is in the #1 spot and the spears were equipped. The other guy
is in #2 spot, he has one jewel.

They had 6 or more items and they were the long spears.

Also, my character names, the theif's name now begins and ends with
a square box in place of the charcters. Also, the Necromancer's
first letter is now a box.

That's helpful -- we will investigate the code for that trap, but
there are so many combinations of possibilities, it will still be
very difficult to reproduce -- even if that trap is the cause.

It may depend on having a certain number or combination of of items
with certain attributes (equipped, unique, droppable, identified, or
not). Is it possible for you (or anyone else) to say for sure:

- what slots in your party were the characters who got the jewels
(I.e. was CALEB in slot 1 at the time)?
- What slots in your inventory did the jewel appear when you first
noticed it?
- Are you sure that it was spears that were replaced -- if so, were
they equipped at the time, and was there anything else special about
them (unique, etc)
- What else can you remember about the inventory of the character
when you first noticed the jewel -- number, type, attributes, and
order of items, etc?

Thanks,
Jason

Caleb has 2 of the Jewels, and Tessor has 1 or 2. I think it may
have to do with the part of the Lords Lair #2, when it says
something about you feel lighter. Anyway, it took me a while to get
past this part, and I kept noticing the jewels pop up and replacing
my Spears.

The answer is obvious. Not one of the more elegant riddles, but effective.

You have to leave everyone except one person at an inn.
