Having problems with message search?

Got the eye, got Soli, killed the Dragon Prince, got the first segment, and now am stuck in the cul-de-sac in the Goblin Prison. Used my Magic Map so can see that no obvious exit from the cul-de-sac. Pushed on all the walls, tried to portal out, tried to levitate to the trap door at the beginning - everything to no avail. Do I just pace in there and eventually the 3rd or 4th or 5th goblin group will open a door?
PS Someone needs to take this game away from me so I can get some sleep!

Have you cleared out all of Sewer 2 as well?
