You need to get the strong man from the fair so dump one of your chars and visit the fair!!

After you receive message that your party is not strong enough you have to go back to New Treleon and visit the festival in SE. It is open only at weekends....

You have to go back to town, and wait untile the weekend. Got to the fair in the north east corner and watch the strong man act. Talk to him and he will help...
