OK, I uploaded the save file. It's in \Files\DB2 Saved Games\MSRK
Saved Games, and the description is "PPC 1.0.5 Save Before Sudden
Death of Caleb". If you restore the entry labelled "Talon Cloister
Sewe", the party will be standing just outside the king's residence
in New Treleon. Enter the teleporter, and you'll be at the troll's
teleporter in the Talon Cloiser sewer. Head toward the bronze key
door at (2,24). My experience has been that in the first battle you
engage in, no matter where it happens or what you're fighting, Caleb
has about a 50/50 chance of dying inexplicably. And it always
happens in the first "round". So if you complete the first round of
combat and Caleb is still alive, finish the battle, reset, and try
again. Or keep playing if you want - maybe it will happen in a later
battle, but that hasn't happened with me.
