I have past that point now but I cannot seem to be able to kill Lord Ta’kall. Any suggestions?

If I remember correctly you have to trigger the strongman event by trying to move a wall in the sewers level 1.  Then stow a party member and pick up The strongman during the weekend.  Then go back to that wall and he’ll move it for you.
