Having problems with message search?
Okay, so how do I "equip" the Dragonbane sword. I have been handling real swords for most of my adult life (and I am 58). I presently own two, one a precise, signed and numbered replica of the ceremonial sword made for King Robert I of Scotland (Robert de Brus). The original is still in the possession of the Bruce cland c hief, and since he is a Duke and therefore has the right to conduct ducal courts and knight those who are worthy, it has been used in this generation for its intended purpose. Lady Catherine Bruce, then clan chief, used it to knight Robert Burns.
I have never heard the term "equip a sword" and have no idea what it means. I understand equipping yourself with a sword, drawing a sword, polishing and protecting a sword, but not equipping a sword.

People have had this problem before. When HELIX first fixes the
DRAGONBANE he says a bunch of stuff and then:
"MAKE HASTE! EQUIP YOUR DRAGON BANE SWORD AND FIND KRA'AN IN HIS LAIR"
You only have to meet KRA'AN for HELIX to open the teleport to KRA'AN
LAIR 2. However, the above says "...EQUIP YOUR DRAGON BANE
SWORD ..." If you do not equip the DRAGONBANE SWORD you can fight
KRA'AN all you want and nothing will happen. If you equip the
DRAGONBANE SWORD, meet KRA'AN and immediately run away, then HELIX
says:
"IT SEEMS THAT YOUR DRAGON BANE SWORD IS USELESS AGAINST KRA'AN. I
FEARED THIS WOULD HAPPEN. KRA'AN HIMSELF MUST BE PROTECTING A
MISSING PIECE FROM THE SWORD. NOW THAT YOU HAVE SEEN HIS LAIR, I CAN
OPEN A PORTAL SOMEWHERE JUST BEHIND HIS MAIN CHAMBER. FROM THERE YOU
SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEARCH HIS PROTECTED TREASURES FOR SOMETHING TO
MAKE THE DRAGONBANE WHOLE. ANY ARTIFACTS YOU FIND, BRING THEM AND
THE SWORD TO ME AND I WILL SEE IF WE CAN RESTORE THE SWORD'S POWER."
Once HELIX says this, the teleport to the GOBLIN PRISON now goes to
KRA'AN LAIR 2.
