Hi Gabe,
It looks like MONSTER 000 000 000 gives you the exact range you ask
for. If a monster summons another monster, it also gives you the
exact range. If you encounter a monster randomly, it seems to give
you 10-max, randomly. So far 20 ft, 30 ft and 70 ft give you shorter
ranges. I do not know if it is evenly weighted between all possible
distances or heavily favored towards the range you ask for. I know
number of monster groups appearing is heavily weighted towards 1
group.
I have not tried 40 ft, 50 ft or 60 ft.

randomly, but it looks like it should just be max. Is it only
affecting 70' range monsters, or do 50 and 60 etc range sometimes
appear closer too?
