producing the yearly Jagfest issue of the Atari Zone Fanzine" (AVC was actually
one of the organiziners in 1997,2001 and 2002)

Hello everyone. I haven't been here for a long time. It's good to see
that we have a final date set. I might go to the one on July 12th but
I have no idea where Lombard is.
JAGFEST 2003 - THRIVING IN THE JUNGLE
For 2003 Jaguar fans have agreed to hold multiple JagFest events nationwide
to allow other fans the opportunity to attend during this historic tenth
anniversary of the release of the Jaguar by Atari Corporation.
JagFest 2003 "Thriving in the Jungle" will demonstrate the Jaguar is still
alive and kicking with numerous hobby game efforts underway nearly a decade
after the Jaguar's first release. Each event will feature demos of lost and
upcoming games, as well as one or more tournaments with prizes for some of
the best Jaguar games out there.
At this time, the following JagFest events have been established:
JagFest @ MWC
---------------------
When: June 7, 2003
Where: Milwaukee, WI
Lead Organizers: Dan Iacovelli
JagFest @ VGS
---------------------
When: July 12, 2003
Where: Lombard, IL
Lead Organizers: Dan Iacovelli
JagFest @ CGE
---------------------
When: August 9-10, 2003
Where: Las Vegas, NV
Lead Organizers: Carl Forhan and Scott Walters
There's no way these few organizers can accomplish a successful event alone.
We need fans to commit to attend to whichever shows they can. We need
equipment, unreleased games, demos of upcoming games, tournament prizes,
flyers, web pages, and more. If you're interested in organizing a JagFest event
in your region, or would like to assist with other established events, please
send a blank email to JagFest-subscribe@yahoogroups.com .
Long live the Jaguar!

Hello Fellow members(JCU and AVCIL),
Just like to tell you that I have updated the web site with the following:
Added a new page to Events site (the AVC/JCU 2003 US Tour page)
also added a brand new event to the events page AVC Presents The Video Game
Summit
Or VGS for short. This event started up as discussion on the Atari Age
Forums under the events topic
Subject :Chicago which was started by Inky. Originally this event was just
going be local people playing games
but as the discussion grew I figured the best thing to do is have some
local dealers come as well.
As of right now: we have a location being set up for Triton College's
Hillside Campus in Hillside ,IL
As for a date we are currently looking at either February or March when
everything becomes finalized
I'll put out a PR announcing the date and time. Until then be sure to sign
up to The VGS mailing list
if your interested in attending this new event( which can be found at the
2003 US Tour page).
The next issue of the Atari Zone Fanzine should be done soon.
thank you
Dan Iacovelli

Them's is good prices, I have to say. Do you know what size of

Inky, I'm going to send a letter to my insurance agent sometime this

to ask about that. the thing I'm worried about is that I don't think I'm
covered
with them(my health is covered by the union I work for. that why I
figured on
writing a letter to agent to find if I can get it.)
as for room size: I'm going be setting up a yahoo group soon to see how
many people are series about coming. I figure a room that will fit about
40+ people
would be good.
