•  Raffle/Tournament committee: basically help with the raffles and tourneys**

just an update:

Nobody showed up at the meeting,

and the next scheduled meeting prob won't be happening til about Sept.

Until then, please come to the chats on Saturdays at 2pm in the telenet chat room.

the items that would be discuseed at today meeting will be done there.

they are VGS'08 planning, possible ideas for the following:otuing to amumusemt places or arcades, doing swap meet stlye show(smaller then VGS)

and ideas for for the future of AVC

(To those on The AVCIL mailing list don't forget about the poll for the date

for metting in 2007.if you need a link to it let me know,if you not on the list but want to put in a vote for date for local meeting IL(this is basicly for those who live in IL or surronding states ) e-mail me and I'll tell you what dates we have to choice from.

Also effective Jan.1st I'm going be stepping down as editor of The Atari Zone, I've already chosen the new editor and he was the editor of the fanzine before so I can trust him with it.

I'll more information about it after the first of jan. Planning for VGS'08 will start as soon as I contact a couple places I had my eye on in the past,the comittee people already know where I'm talking about( I really don't want to return to fairfield, the first two shows got off with outa hitch, the last two had a few downsides(tables wasn't set up I wanted for '05 and '06

basicly what I'm looking at now is place near by ohare airport(there are two,but I'm not what two,but one is closer to airport then the other,the major plus side to both is resturants are real close by(you might say one has on the premisis(that might game away one location right there :) )
